Specific care and bodywork for women through seasonal needs

MEET CASS… ABOUT MELT

Melt was founded in 2019 from a simple but persistent question:
There must be more to life than this.

At the time, I was seeking greater happiness, vitality, and ease and slowly came to understand that these qualities are deeply connected to how we inhabit our bodies. Through both personal experience, a range of studies and creative inquiry, my work has become an exploration of the dialogue between body-mind-spirit. My work with women, is grounded in this integrative approach - offering care that respects the body’s design, steadies the mind, and creates space for a spiritual foundation as it relates to pain and aliments.

Melt exists to support women through seasons of change - particularly menstruation, reproductive health, pregnancy, postpartum, and other transitional thresholds. With care that is slow, intentional, and deeply respectful of the body’s beauty and intelligence.

Finding my work

One of the most formative turning points in my journey came through a personal healing crisis. I experienced severe abdominal and pelvic pain, disordered eating, debilitating anxiety, and emotional instability. I found comfort and hope through a bodyworker in Byron Bay, she guided me towards self-abdominal massage and naturopathic education to ease the aliments. This eventually led me to study Traditional Balinese Massage, within a feminine, and nurturing framework at the Bali Massage Academy. Through the experience of daily giving and receiving I felt my system recalibrated and bring a new found respect to my body and manual therapy. Pain softened. Regulation returned. I discovered a natural rhythm and ease in working with the body, and a deep love for massage as a form of care and repair.

Today, this experience informs how I work with women, particularly those navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, abdominal and pelvic healing, and life transitions. My focus is on supporting stability, safety, and restoring your body back optimal vitality.

Majority of the work I provide is bodywork, However , additionally I support you with range of holistic practices that I bring into the sessions such as; herbal oils, castor oil packs, pelvic steams, belly binding, herbal and nutritional recommendations, stretching and movement, breath work. I refer you onto practitioners that can support a specific need.

A priority I hold in sessions is to strengthen your understanding of your female physiology, reflect back to you my findings, to walk along side you as we connect the dots and place your health back into your own hands.

History

I was raised on a farm in Parkes, in Central West NSW. Life there taught me about cycles - planting, waiting, tending, harvesting and the quiet discipline of care over time. It instilled in me a respect for hard work, community, honesty, and service.

On a farm with livestock you witness, birth-dealth cycles and natural word interacting harmoniously.

This upbringing continues to shape how I practice: with humility, patience, and a commitment to caring for people in a grounded, practical way. It also planted the seeds for my belief that the body, like the land, responds best when it is tended with consistency, respect and proper nourishment.

In May 2024, I experienced a profound encounter with God that reshaped the foundation of my life. Since then, my work has been guided by a deep commitment to faith, prayer, and service.

The foundation of melt is informed by Christian values of reverence, humility, compassion, and care. I understand my work as a calling God continues to place in my heart, and He continues to open my eyes to women’s reproductive issues, simultaneously showing me how I can contribute to the restoring of God’s original blueprint for women and families. Using my hands, my story, prayer, presence in service of others.

This faith has brought hope for healing from pain through the incredible regenerative design of the body/organs/tissue/mind - even amidst challenge - the steadiness of Gods workings underpins how I show up in my work.
